DVD won't play on TV ?

Question : Why won't DVDs that I burned on my computer play on the DVD player connected to my TV?

Answer : DVDs come in a number of formats, like DVD-R and DVD(PLUS)R, but some older DVD players can't read many of the newer disc formats. Check your player's manual to see what types of discs it is compatible with.

DVDs can be used for data storage as well as making movies, so check the settings on your computer's DVD-recording software to make sure you are properly recording your movies for video playback.
